Light quality

Warm white sits at the yellow end of the scale — the tone people associate with a relaxed lounge or bedroom, and the closest match to the old incandescent globes. This one puts out 200 lumens. At this output it works as accent or secondary lighting rather than the main light in a room. The 350° beam spreads light widely rather than throwing it in one direction. A CRI of 80 describes how faithfully colours appear under the light — the higher the figure, the more natural fabrics, food and skin tones look.

Fitting and compatibility

E14 is the small screw cap used in chandeliers, wall brackets and most bedside lamps — noticeably narrower than the common E27. It runs on 230V, standard South African mains supply. It measures 98mm high.
