Light quality

Warm white sits at the yellow end of the scale — the tone people associate with a relaxed lounge or bedroom, and the closest match to the old incandescent globes. This one puts out 200 lumens. At this output it works as accent or secondary lighting rather than the main light in a room. The 350° beam spreads light widely rather than throwing it in one direction. A CRI of 80 describes how faithfully colours appear under the light — the higher the figure, the more natural fabrics, food and skin tones look.

Fitting and compatibility

B22 is the two-pin bayonet cap: push in, twist a quarter turn, done. It is the other standard fitting in South African homes alongside E27. It runs on 230V, standard South African mains supply. It measures 90mm high.
