Fitting and compatibility

IP65 means it is sealed against dust and against water jets from any direction, so it can be mounted fully exposed to the weather. Installation needs a 65Mm cut-out, so check the opening before ordering. It measures Depth : 40Mm. The die cast aluminium & pressed steel construction is what you are paying for at this price — it is the part that determines how well the fitting ages.

Good to know

This unit is not dimmable — pair it with a standard switch rather than a dimmer circuit, or it will flicker and its life will shorten. Requires a 65Mm cut-out.
