Fitting and compatibility
E27 is the large screw cap found in most South African ceiling roses, pendants and standing lamps. IP20 carries no water protection, so it belongs indoors in a dry position. The steel & marble construction is what you are paying for at this price — it is the part that determines how well the fitting ages.
Good to know
This unit is not dimmable — pair it with a standard switch rather than a dimmer circuit, or it will flicker and its life will shorten. It carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for indoor use in dry areas. Check that your fitting takes the E27 (large screw) cap before ordering.
