The Eurolux G944CW is a 3W mr16 downlight on the GU5.3 / MR16 (12V pin) fitting. It replaces a 25W incandescent without changing the fitting. Output is 220 lumens of cool white light.

Light quality

Cool white is a crisp, neutral tone. It keeps whites looking genuinely white, which is why it suits kitchens, bathrooms and work areas. This one puts out 220 lumens. At this output it works as accent or secondary lighting rather than the main light in a room.

Fitting and compatibility

GU5.3 (also sold as MR16) is the two-pin 12V cap. It needs a transformer or driver rather than running straight off the mains. Running at 12V, it needs a transformer or LED driver — it will not work wired directly to the mains.

Good to know

This unit is not dimmable — pair it with a standard switch rather than a dimmer circuit, or it will flicker and its life will shorten. Runs on 12V. Check that your fitting takes the GU5.3 / MR16 (12V pin) cap before ordering.
