Light quality

Warm white sits at the yellow end of the scale — the tone people associate with a relaxed lounge or bedroom, and the closest match to the old incandescent globes. This one puts out 400 lumens. That is enough for a bedside lamp, a passage, or one of several fittings sharing a room. The 190° beam spreads light widely rather than throwing it in one direction.

Fitting and compatibility

E14 is the small screw cap used in chandeliers, wall brackets and most bedside lamps — noticeably narrower than the common E27. It runs on 220–240V, standard South African mains supply. It measures 99mm high.
