Description

The Eurolux G81 is a 15W pygmy chandelier on the E14 (small screw) fitting. Output is 90 lumens of warm white light.

Key features

  • 15W draw — low running cost for the light it gives
  • 90 lumens of usable light output
  • 2700K warm white — a consistent tone across every fitting in the room
  • 1 000 hours rated life
  • Standard E14 (small screw) base — fits existing fittings, no electrician needed

Ideal for

  • Everyday lighting in lounges, bedrooms and passages
  • Chandeliers, wall brackets and bedside lamps
  • Fittings that are awkward to reach, where long life matters

Light quality

Warm white sits at the yellow end of the scale — the tone people associate with a relaxed lounge or bedroom, and the closest match to the old incandescent globes. This one puts out 90 lumens. At this output it works as accent or secondary lighting rather than the main light in a room.

Fitting and compatibility

E14 is the small screw cap used in chandeliers, wall brackets and most bedside lamps — noticeably narrower than the common E27. It runs on 220V, standard South African mains supply. It measures 52mm high.

Good to know

Runs on 220V. Check that your fitting takes the E14 (small screw) cap before ordering.

Satisfied with the globe. It fits the Himalayan salt lamp perfectly. Almost the price of a new lamp. Hope more stock availability will bring down the price. Couldn't find stock in store so fortunately found this here.

What I appreciate most is its durability. Despite the high heat of the oven, this lamp has lasted much longer than previous bulbs I've used. It’s also energy-efficient, which is a bonus. If you need a reliable, long-lasting oven lamp that gets the job done.

It Works as expected, after all its just a bulb :-)

It's early days so cannot say how long oven lamps will last - previous experience suggests that 3-6 months is about all that one may expect.
