Light quality

Soft white is a middle tone: warmer than office lighting but cleaner than a traditional globe, which makes it an easy all-rounder. This one puts out 2800 lumens. That is a high output aimed at large rooms, workshops and outdoor areas. A CRI of 45 describes how faithfully colours appear under the light — the higher the figure, the more natural fabrics, food and skin tones look.

Fitting and compatibility

E27 is the large screw cap found in most South African ceiling roses, pendants and standing lamps. It runs on 220V, standard South African mains supply. It measures 175mm high.
