The Eurolux G1033DL is a 15W a60 LED globe on the B22 (bayonet) fitting. It replaces a 100W incandescent without changing the fitting. Output is 1350 lumens of daylight light.

Light quality

Daylight is the coolest, bluest tone on the scale. It reads as very bright and alert, which suits garages, workshops and security lighting more than living rooms. This one puts out 1350 lumens. That is a bright main light, suited to a lounge, kitchen or open-plan space. The 230° beam spreads light widely rather than throwing it in one direction. A CRI of 80 describes how faithfully colours appear under the light — the higher the figure, the more natural fabrics, food and skin tones look.

Fitting and compatibility

B22 is the two-pin bayonet cap: push in, twist a quarter turn, done. It is the other standard fitting in South African homes alongside E27. It runs on 230V, standard South African mains supply. It measures 128mm high and 50mm across.
