Fitting and compatibility
B22 is the two-pin bayonet cap: push in, twist a quarter turn, done. It is the other standard fitting in South African homes alongside E27. It runs on 230V, standard South African mains supply.

This globe works exactly as described and seems to be of high quality. It is odd that takealot offers only a six-month warranty, while the Eurolux packaging states clearly that the globe has a three-year warranty.
