Fitting and compatibility

B22 is the two-pin bayonet cap: push in, twist a quarter turn, done. It is the other standard fitting in South African homes alongside E27. It runs on 250V, standard South African mains supply. IP20 carries no water protection, so it belongs indoors in a dry position. It measures 47mm high and 90mm across. The fibre glass construction is what you are paying for at this price — it is the part that determines how well the fitting ages.
